Leclerc 'very happy' to get Alfa Romeo Sauber race seat in 2018

As for Ericsson, the Swede was in a battle with Antonio Giovinazzi for the second seat before Sauber opted to stick with what they know.

Alfa Romeo Sauber has confirmed Charles Leclerc and Marcus Ericsson will race for the team in the 2018 season, as well as showing off an initial team livery.

The line-up was announced at a special press event in Milan, Italy on Saturday, where the team revealed further details of their new title sponsorship deal with Alfa Romeo, including a revised red and white livery concept for next season's auto and a new logo.
