Earthquake In Delaware, Tremors Experienced in Region

The natural disaster struck at 4:47 p.m.

USGS revised the magnitude from 5.1 to a 4.1 natural disaster.

Social media was abuzz even before the official word from scientists. On Twitter, #earthquake was trending shortly after the tremor began near rush hour.

The report detailed an natural disaster that originated in DE and could be felt as far away as New York City.

"That is a pretty small quake", a USGS spokeswoman said by telephone.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries in Philadelphia or NY, the cities tweeted.

In Baltimore, the jolt was strong enough to send some people streaming out of buildings and into the streets.
