Now, Paz de la Huerta alleges Harvey Weinstein raped her twice

NY police have a credible rape allegation against fallen Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and are gathering evidence for a possible arrest warrant, a senior officer confirmed Friday.

But Boyce said detectives were working collaboratively with the district attorney's office on this case.

Weinstein insisted they have drinks inside her apartment and that's where the alleged assault happened, she said.

Paz de la Huerta, an actress best known for her role in HBO's "Boardwalk Empire", was interviewed by detectives who corroborated parts of her allegations, Boyce said Friday, WABC reported.

Twitter Users Express Concern After Employee Temporarily Removes President Trump's Account
Given the U.S. president's frequent use of the platform, it was speculated that Twitter had deliberately disabled Trump's account. Twitter has just issued a statement, saying that some Twitter worker "inadvertently" deactivated the account.

After that, de la Huerta says Weinstein continued to call her and eventually showed up in the lobby of her building in December.

Investigators in London and California were also looking into allegations made by women, but no other department has suggested allegations could result in criminal charges.

Countless women have come forward with claims of sexual abuse and harassment against the movie boss following the publication of damning exposes in the New York Times and New Yorker magazine a month ago. "We are actively investigating them", Sergeant Brendan Ryan, an NYPD spokesman said Thursday.

"We have an actual case here", he added.

"He hushed me and said, 'Let's talk about this in your apartment, '" de la Huerta said.

She told CBS that she had been drinking that night and was in no state to agree to having sex.

In a statement his representative said: "Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr Weinstein". "The investigation is on-going".

On another front, a New York City AIDS charity, amfAR, confirmed on Friday a report that it has received a subpoena from federal prosecutors investigating Weinstein's involvement in 2015 fundraising event.
