More Sunshine, Warmer Monday

More Sunshine, Warmer Monday

Sunday's chilly rain has moved out, but we're still on the damp side Monday morning, and you may encounter some thick fog as you head out the door for work early on.

We'll still keep the clouds around through the night so that will help moderate our temperatures, but once again we'll be in the lower 50s by sunrise.

Delhi smog: City's residents frustrated over vehicle rationing
It was implemented for 15 days from January 1-15 and April 15-30 a year ago . The smog's been so bad that schools have been closed this week.

Tomorrow: Clouds will hang around into the morning hours tomorrow before clearing and bring mostly sunny conditions across the area. We could even see a bit of drizzle in the mix but that's about the extent of today's rain chances. The next best chance for rain will come Saturday as a cold front moves through. Highs on Saturday climb into the mid to upper 50s, but behind the front on Sunday we'll only reach the mid 40s.

Thursday: The sunshine returns with a high temperature near 51 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: The mentioned cold front will drop temperatures a few degrees across the state - more noticeable drop (up to 10°) across eastern NM. High temperatures will be warm on Friday climbing into upper 50's and low 60's. Otherwise we should have some fairly pleasant and dry weather through the week!
