Fallen Kingdom' first footage has the baby raptor you need right now

JA Bayona has taken up directing duties for the sequel, with Bryce Dallas Howard joining Pratt once again.

Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow dropped a nice holiday gift on Twitter today: the first footage of the sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

"From our Jurassic family to yours", the film's director, J.A. Bayona (The Orphanage, The Impossible, A Monster Calls) posted on social media, captioning a video of Chris Pratt's Owen Grady hanging out with a baby raptor.

Radioactive cloud that smothered Europe came from Russian Federation
The mysterious cloud was spotted in September and October and European reports blamed it on nuclear contamination from Russian Federation .

While the exact online debut date for the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer remains burried, we know it will arrive no later than December 13th with Star Wars The Last Jedi.

It's not much and the weird angle and jittery camera suggests that Trevorrow is actually filming a screen showing the footage (possibly in an editing bay?). Hopefully we'll get at least a few more baby dinosaurs.

"Jurassic World" hauled $1.67 billion worldwide, becoming the fourth-highest-grossing movie in history. It also appears to have similar markings to Blue, one of the velociraptors trained by Pratt's character Owen Grady. Who else recalls that awesome velociraptor egg hatching scene in the original 1993 film, Jurassic Park?

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's plot details haven't been released, but it sounds like the film might have a more serious message than its predecessor.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will hit theaters on June 22, 2018.
