Baylor Leads Big 12 in Graduation Success Rate

Baylor Leads Big 12 in Graduation Success Rate

The graduation success rate was developed as an improved measurement tool for tracking student-athletes' academic progress leading toward graduation.

Six Arkansas programs - soccer, swimming/diving, volleyball, women's golf, men's golf and men's tennis - recorded 100 percent graduation rates in the latest reporting cycle. "Graduating our student-athletes is and always will be a priority for the UConn Division of Athletics and this continuing trend of improvement in the Graduation Success Rates is a direct result of that emphasis".

"We're very proud of our student-athletes in persisting to graduation", said USU Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student Services Dr. Brian Evans.

The GSR takes into account the many different academic paths followed by today's college students. Under the calculation, institutions are not penalized for outgoing students who leave in good academic standing. "The fact that they are leaving as graduates from this world class university is the strongest testament to the hard work of our student-athletes, administrators and coaches who make academics the utmost priority".
