'White widow' jihadi killed by United States drone

Tabloid newspaper The Sun said United States authorities had told them that Sally Jones, a former singer in a rock band, and her 12-year-old son died in June near the border with Iraq.

Jones collected another nickname - White Widow -after Hussain was killed by a US army drone in IS group capital of Raqqa in 2015.

Following her husband's death, Jones was reportedly placed in charge of the female wing of IS' Anwar al-Awlaki batallion - a foreign fighter unit formed with the objective of planning and executing attacks in the West. There have been several such claims of IS militants having been killed only for them to resurface months later.

The Defence Secretary, Sir Michael Fallon, said Jones, dubbed the "White Widow", was a "legitimate target".

U.S. to lose trust if Washington withdraws from Iran N
Many Democrats believe that is more likely to happen if Congress does not act to make changes to the existing agreement. If the US made a decision to reimpose nuclear-related sanctions on Iran, it would be in breach of the JCPOA.

It is possible that her her 12-year-old son Jojo was killed with her.

The Pentagon said it's looking into reports that a British Islamic State supporter known as the "White Widow" was killed by an airstrike this summer.

It remains unclear if he was killed and sources said the attack would have been aborted if it was known he was close by, the newspaper added.

"In one propaganda post, she posed as a nun with a gun and spoke of her wish to behead Christians with a "nice blunt knife", The Sun reports. She met Junaid Hussain, a British-Pakistani computer hacker who worked for the terror group, online and married him to become a "jihadi bride". "Come here I'll do it for you".

Kelly: 'I don't think I'm being fired today'
Asked by a reporter if he was frustrated at all, Kelly said, "No, I'm not frustrated". "Not all of you, but many of you". Kelly noted that his current position is "the hardest job I've ever had".

"The Americans zapped her trying to get away from Raqqa".

Major General Chip Chapman, the former MoD head of counter terror, said Jones would have been a "significant" target as a result of her alliance with Hussain and her role in recruiting IS fighters.

If reports of Jones' death are true, she would be the sixth Briton killed by drones in Syria.

He continued: "Even if he got up to really bad things, he shouldn't have been targeted. She is the first woman I know of who's been specifically targeted in this way".

Bellinger, Dodgers beat D-backs 3-1 to return to NLCS
Good, just not great results - a fate Goldschmidt and the D-backs now must take into a long winter, as the Dodgers march on. The Diamondbacks put only one runner on base in those four innings and managed to get only two balls out of the infield.
