Police find decapitated head of journalist Kim Wall

Kim Wall, 30 years old, was a journalist for Swedish independent.

The submarine bird for a few hours overnight from August 10 to 11, amid which time police trust Wall's body was sliced to pieces, Moeller Jensen said. Police identified it as Wall's and said blood inside the submarine matched DNA samples retrieved from her hairbrush. The events that transpired while the two were underwater are still unknown but Wall never returned to shore.

The suspect Peter Madsen, who hasn't commented the lastest findings, will be interrogated shortly.

Detective Mike McCarthy said, with the police saying in a further statement that there was no threat to any venue in the city. They observed the suspect down on the ground and also saw a second door that could not be accessed from their position.

Wall's naked, decapitated torso washed ashore in Copenhagen on 21 August with 15 stab wounds to her ribcage and genitals. The autopsy did not, however, to establish the causes of death.

"We have found the head and two legs, but we have not found her arms", Mr. Moller said.

Videos were also recovered on Madsen's computer showing women being strangled, decapitated and burned. He has been charged with her killing, which he denies. He slipped and lost his grip on the hatch, which then hit her on the head, he said.

The No. 2 official in the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Wednesday he was surprised investigators had not uncovered more. Lombardo said the authorities had found no manifesto or anything else to explain Paddock's actions.

Madsen was later captured and held in guardianship on doubt of murdering Wall.

Madsen remains in police custody as the investigation continues.

Remedy: This story has been refreshed to clear up that some of Wall's remaining parts were found in a different sack from her apparel.
