Paris to ban all diesel cars by 2024, petrol by 2030

Paris has revealed its plans to ban all petrol and diesel vehicles in the city by 2030.

The world's most visited city, Paris, plans to prohibit fossil-fueled cars from entering city before 2030.

"This is about planning for the long term with a strategy that will reduce greenhouse gases", said Christophe Najdovski, an official responsible for transport policy at the office of Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.
