New York Giants suspend Lakewood Ranch High alum Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

Somehow things are getting worse: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie got suspended by the team Wednesday for what amounts to going AWOL.

Jordan Canaan of ESPN reported that Giants safety Landon Collins told reporters that Rodgers-Cromartie and McAdoo got into an "altercation" during Sunday's loss to the Chargers.

When asked about the length and reason for the suspension, McAdoo said "that's all I have for you right now".

"DRC came in (Tuesday), we had a conversation that was personal upstairs and he came in (Wednesday) and made a decision to leave", McAdoo said during a Wednesday press conference.

The 31-year-old Florida native is in the fourth season of a five-year, $35 million contract he signed with the Giants in March 2014.
