Las Vegas Massacre Gunman Had Escape Plan

He says Stephen Paddock planned to survive and escape but didn't say how.

She arrived late Tuesday at the Los Angeles International Airport from the Philippines.

Stephen Paddock, the man behind the mass shooting that left more than 50 people dead and almost 500 hurt in Las Vegas, may have planned event attacks in Chicago and Boston, according to media reports Thursday.

"I loved him and hoped for a quiet future together with him".

"He never said anything to me or took any action that I was aware of that I understood in any way to be a warning that something terrible like this was going to happen", Marilou Danley, 62, said in a statement read by her lawyer outside Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters in Los Angeles Wednesday.

It cited their reasons as "livelihood difficulties", health problems, a "belief" of insecurity and fear of becoming a minority. About 900,000 doses of cholera vaccine are due to arrive this weekend and a vaccination campaign should start on Tuesday.

The shooter in the Las Vegas deadly massacre apparently planned to survive and escape in the moments after the massacre, but investigators did not specifically say how he meant to do that.

Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said it's unclear if Paddock was engaged in "pre-surveillance" of the event.

Stephen Paddock slaughtered 58 people using a stockpile of weapons. On October 2, Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Officials also uncovered that he bought 33 firearms during a 13-month period leading up to the attack.

Lombardo said Paddock spent decades stockpiling guns and living a "secret life" that investigators may never be able to fully understand. "Anything that would indicate this individual trigger point, which would cause him to inflict this harm, we're not there yet". The receipt says that the order was for two guests and was charged to the hotel room Paddock stayed in during the attack. "It's troublesome for the amount of stuff he had at both residences unassisted".

Police found Stephen Paddock to be a man with no criminal record, but he had about 40 rifles in his possession in several locations.

On Wednesday, having returned from overseas voluntarily to answer investigator's questions about her partner, Danley released a statement which was read out by her lawyer, Matthew Lombard.

"She was sent away".
