Suspension of Ezekiel Elliott : the National Football League continued

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Dan Graziano, Kia Wright Roberts, the NFL's director of investigations, was the only National Football League employee to interview Tiffany Thompson, Elliott's accuser.

During her testimony, Friel confirmed that Roberts never met with Goodell, and indicated that the report they authored together did not contain any sort of recommendation for how Goodell should proceed.

Elliott, the NFL's 2016 rushing leader as a rookie, was suspended after the league concluded he used physical force last summer against Tiffany Thompson, his girlfriend at the time.

Zahid Hossain Siddique, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Teknaf, said he heard 17 people were dead after the boats capsize. Monitors say there have been few, if any, insurgent attacks reported since the initial offensive of last week.

The lawsuit is ultimately meant to block Henderson from upholding Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott's six-game ban. However, Elliott denied the allegations under oath during the appeal hearing, according to the lawsuit, and OH prosecutors declined to pursue the case a year ago, citing conflicting evidence. "They're trying to create a grand conspiracy story where none exists", league spokesman Joe Lockhart told on Friday. "The credibility issues were addressed at length in the investigative report".

The attorneys pointed out that Henderson also declined to hear directly from Goodell. A ruling is expected by Monday. If the decision doesn't come by then, Elliott will be eligible to play the New York Giants in Dallas' season opener on September 10.

If Henderson rules that Elliott should be suspended for any amount of games, the court could stay the suspension while it reviews the situation with Elliott potentially playing while the case works its way through the courts. "Not only did the underlying facts not support the false allegations made against Mr. Elliott, but the process in which they were gathered and adjudicated were fundamentally unfair. The NFLPA categorically denies the accusations made in this statement", read a statement from the NFLPA. It seems the union has learned from past experience: Immediately after Goodell upheld Brady's four-game Deflategate suspension in July 2015, the league filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in NY asking that a judge confirm its decision.

Authorities weren't able to confirm the incident early Monday afternoon, but three family members verified the story to KHOU . They still don't know where the van is, whether the current carried it away or if it sank close to where it went in.

What followed was an objection from the NFL's lawyer, and a lengthy back-and-forth between the two sides in which the NFLPA's lawyer argued that Friel had now opened up her conversation with Goodell as fair game, and should be forced to testify about Goodell's response to Roberts's opinion.

The NFL had no comment on the filing.
