Nikki Haley Says Trump Has Grounds to Leave Iran Deal

Haley didn't dispute the assessments of worldwide inspectors and US intelligence agencies, both of which concluded that Iran is in compliance with the deal, no matter how flawed and limited it may be.

"For advocates of the deal, everything in our relationship with the Iranian regime must now be subordinated to the preservation of the agreement", Haley said Tuesday. "But the deal was constructed in a way that makes leaving it less attractive".

Ilan Goldenberg, a former state department official, said that if Trump withheld certification of the nuclear deal it would be hard for him to continue to waive sanctions, as both are based on similar criteria.

One reason for the unease about simply renouncing the deal is the united support for it among the United States' European allies as well as Russian Federation and China, whose backing for powerful sanctions against Iran were crucial in forcing Tehran to the negotiating table. Despite repeated IAEA reports verifying full Iranian compliance, the administration of US President Donald Trump has sought to portray Iran as being in violation of the accord.

When Tide running backs Bo Scarbrough and Damien Harris tried to run up the middle, there was practically nowhere for them to go. With the impressive victory Alabama is certain to maintain its hold at the No. 1 ranking, and it hosts Fresno State next week.

Haley said Congress could use that time to debate Iran's past nuclear activity and other issues, including its support for terrorism and human rights violations. Even better, from the Trump administration's point of view: Trump wouldn't really have to take responsibility for the consequences of withdrawing from the deal.

A senior U.S. official has said that the Trump administration is keeping a close watch on the two countries and is ready to act if and when necessary. The speech also used more twisted versions of familiar rhetorical twists that have been heard before from diehard opponents of the JCPOA. "It's very easy to just talk about compliance and the JCPOA", she said.

With a double-sided report from the IAEA, the United States administration would have been able to force more sanctions on Iran by in fact announcing Iran in violation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Vahid Ahmadi, who has served as member of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, told Trend September 3.

United Nation's Ambassador Nikki Haley called on the UN Security Council to consider a strong response to North Korea.

Lara confessed he was "embarrassed" when a series of umpiring decisions helped the West Indies triumph over England in 1990. West Indies, who stand on the brink of their first series win in England since 1988, might have something to say about that.

In return, the USA and the European Union will suspend nuclear-related sanctions against Iran, with the lifting of all past UN Security Council sanction resolutions.

"We're allowing them to have behavior that's in violation of the resolution right in front of us", she emphasized. "We have to look at the reality that this deal is flawed". This is not about European security. "The entire world thinks the JCPOA is untouchable", Haley said, "but it's not".

"You can't put lipstick on a pig", Haley added.

"Everyone hoped the deal would make the Iranian government good people", Haley said, "but no one looked at the history of Iran, no one looked at all the past aggressions they have shown". If the United States abandoned a deal with Iran that the previous president negotiated, there would be little reason for the North to think the same might not happen in any agreement it struck.

Together with Prince Harry, William and Kate have taken a leading role in marking the 20th anniversary of Diana's death. It was always thought that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would go on to have three children.

There were several flat-out mistakes in Haley's remarks, noted former member of the U.S. nuclear negotiating team Richard Nephew, who went to the trouble of cataloguing them. And she noted that Iran has in the past hidden its most sensitive nuclear activities in military sites that are now hard to reach for United Nations inspectors. "We decided long beforehand that we would not get a broader agreement". One approach, advocated by Mark Dubowitz of the Foundation for the Defence of Democracies and David Albright of the Institute for Science and International Security, argues Congress should drastically increase non-nuclear sanctions on Iran but stop short of reimposing the sanctions that would blow up the deal. "So far, Iran is abiding by the commitments taken in this mutually agreed framework". "In short, we must consider the whole picture, not simply whether Iran has exceeded the JCPOA's limit on uranium enrichment".
