Great Weekend Weather Continues For Sunday

A similar forecast for Monday and Tuesday includes highs in the mid-70s. Low: 73. High: 95.

Temperatures on Saturday may stay in the 60s all day with a fall feel to the air and partly cloudy skies. We are drier, with still a fair amount of clouds Thursday, and readings remaining below average in the lower 70s.

Irma was downgraded to a strong Category 4 storm on Friday, but winds still reached a sustained maximum of 155 miles per hour, the US National Hurricane Center said. We will continue to have clear skies overnight allowing for cooler temperatures.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and hot. Any morning fog will lift as the morning progresses, with mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures expected.

Mexico natural disaster : Death toll rises to 90
In Xalapa, the capital of the eastern state of Veracruz, "two people died in mudslides" triggered by the rainstorm, Puente said. Torrential rains pounded the villages of Veracruz, where two people were killed by a mudslide, according to Gov.

We will see wet weather return Saturday. The remnant circulation from Irma continues to look like it will stay well southwest of our area moving into the Tennessee Valley by Wednesday.

Despite the wind-blown reporters you see along the coast at landfall, DO NOT expect to see any catastrophic winds this far north. Irma will likely be a tropical storm or even a depression by the time it arrives in Virginia. This landfall is absolutely frightful news much of the state, which will bear the brunt of Irma's winds and storm surge, as the northeast quadrant moves over that area.

Trump, Turnbull talk North Korea, floods
Sunday's test of what North Korea said was an advanced hydrogen bomb was its largest by far. Fischer concluded: "We are witnessing one of the toughest farm economies since the 1980s".

Most of Florida will not be spared as Irma tracks northward through the Florida peninsula, essentially paralleling Interstate 75. In addition to the winds, tornadoes will be possible, particularly to the east of Irma's center. Heavy rainfall also is possible, but the threat of flash flooding is low.

However, we can say Irma will not have a direct impact on our weather, maybe just some rain from the remnants toward the second half of next week.

Perez, Anderson Help Brewers Pound Cubs 15-2
The Cubs are in sole possession of first place ahead of the rival Cardinals by four games in the National League Central division. The Milwaukee Brewers will look to complete the sweep of the Cubs after dismantling Chicago by a final score of 15-2 on Saturday.

But that's at least a week away, and forecasters are keeping an eye.
