New 'Blade Runner 2049' Prequel Short Reveals What Happened In 2036

Actor and Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto introduces a fearless new world in the just-released short film for Blade Runner 2049, the long-anticipated follow-up to Ridley Scott's Blade Runner.

The first, Nexus: 2036, was made by Luke Scott and it focuses on Jared Leto's Niander Wallace showing off the obedience and spooky capacity for pain of his new series of Nexus Replicants.

Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters on October 6.

Sean Spicer's prayers granted: Meets the pope in Vatican
Mr Spicer was present as legislators and politicians from around the world gathered in Italy for an annual meeting at the Vatican earlier this week.

Blade Runner 2049 was directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green.

The short was premired by Collider.

And Villeneuve is sharing that gift, as he turned to artistic friends to reveal their vision for key story points that have occurred since the first film, which was set in 2019. Replicant prohibition is still in full effect when Wallace (of Wallace Corp., presumably) introduces the Nexus 9.

RBI All Set For Rs 1000 Notes
This amounts to 1.3 per cent of the Rs 1,000 notes in circulation before the demonetisation announcement on November 8, 2016. A close source to DNA said that, Preparations for the design and the paper for printing the Rs 1,000 note are in full swing.

It begins with Wallace sitting in front of a group of authorities with one of the new Replicants he has developed.

So what happened in those 30 years between Rick Deckard's hunt for rogue replicants and whatever 2049 is about? As you'll see, he has a striking (and bloody) way of showing them how the new replicants operate. This short strikes a good balance between shedding more light on one of the sequel's most important new characters and retaining just the right amount of mystery to keep fans intrigued.

The original film which came out in 1982, ended fairly ambiguously in the year 2017 when Deckard, played by Harrison Ford, fled to Los Angeles with the replicant Rachael (Sean Young). Starring in the sci-fi thriller are Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Ana de Armas, Dave Bautista, Mackenzie Davis and more.
