Kanye West Leaves Jay-Z's Tidal Over Millions in Disputed Money

American rapper, Kanye West has left the Tidal stable, an online streaming service owned by rapper/hip-hop mogul Jay Z. West is reportedly willing to walk away from Tidal but has threatened to counter-sue should they go after him. According to the latest reports, Kanye made a decision to leave Tidal, which is Jaz-Y's company. After two weeks of back-and-forth between Tidal and West's team, no agreement has been reached, resulting in the termination of the contract between the two.

The news comes just days after the rappers' relationship consumed headlines thanks to Jay-Z's highly anticipated album 4:44, on which he sends a few jabs Kanye's way.

The issues stemmed after Kanye's Saint Pablo album brought in more than 1 million new subscribers to Tidal - which he was supposed to receive a bonus for. Tidal responded that West simply didn't deliver the videos required by the contract.
