Vintage Disneyland concept map sells at auction for $708000

The original, first-ever map of Disneyland sketched by Walt Disney in 1953 has been sold for a whopping Dollars 708,000 at an auction in the US.

"As we had expected, this extraordinary Disneyland map sold for an outstanding price today", said Van Eaton Galleries co-owner Mike Van Eaton in a statement.

The original colour map of Disneyland has been sold at auction for over €600,000.

The cases are about the profits made from image rights, not salaries from their clubs. Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano , among others, have already been convicted.

The map was drawn in 1953, when Walt Disney used it to try and secure funding for the venture after his own studio refused to cough up.

Disney's brother Ray used the map at a meeting with investors at the American Broadcast Corporation (ABC) in NY after Disney's own studio refused to fund the park.

It had been hidden away for more than 60 years after the cartoonist gave it to a production assistant named Grenade Curran.

Videos show the passenger being taken off the plane, walking backward with police officers walking both in front and behind her. We're told the passengers on the flight eventually made it to Houston , six hours after they were scheduled to arrive.

At an auction in Los Angeles over the weekend the map fetched $708,000 (approx €634,000).

Auctioneers Van Eaton Galleries have yet to reveal the identity of the buyer.

"We are beyond thrilled that the map will continue to be appreciated and cherished just like it has been for all these years", he said. However, it is still thought to be the most expensive Disney map ever sold. It was the highlight in a series of over 1,000 Disney artifacts from 1953 to the present day, including "original props, wardrobe, riding vehicles, and souvenirs", according to Van Eaton's website.
