Seoul Mulls Co-Hosting 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics With N Korea - Sports Minister

Worldwide pariah North Korea may host the 2018 Winter Olympics jointly with South Korea in an effort to relieve tensions between the two border countries, Seoul officials said.

The Paralympic Games take place March 9 to March 18. The complex would provide a world-class venue for outdoor events likes skiing and snowboarding.

Earlier this year they hosted a women's football tournament in the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, and a women's hockey competition in South Korea.

He also said the countries may enter a combined ice hockey team.
