Larson Leads Ganassi Front-Row Sweep

Teammate Jamie McMurray, who has three career Sonoma poles to his credit, turned a lap of 75.249 seconds (95.204 mph). While Larson is the embodiment of the "any time, any car" style of racer for the 21st Century, he hasn't exactly torn it up at road courses yet, with only one top-10 finish in six attempts in a Cup Series vehicle - and none at Sonoma.

"Sonoma is a place where you can't necessarily run 100 percent every lap", Busch said of handling the conditions.

"We've had times at Sonoma where we've been up front and haven't been able to hold onto it, and other times when we had the right strategy, and we were in the right place at the right time", Busch said. So, I was surprised and I was happy about that. It's a fun place and our race cars are always fast. "It's cool to get the pole here in my home state". I certainly don't have the finishes for the way that we've run throughout the races.

Indian PM Modi visits Portugal on trip to meet with Trump
It will be the first meeting between the two leaders since Trump became US President earlier this year. Prime Minister Modi is the second Indian Prime Minister to visit Portugal.

"It feels good", Larson said of his final qualifying lap, which secured his third pole of the season, his first at Sonoma and the fourth of his premier-series career. And I thought I did a really good job.

Day now has seven wins and finished second and third in the points standings the past two years in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. "And this, to me, is like a road course, short-track race where there's going to be some beating and banging and moving some people out of the way, for sure".

AJ Allmendinger was fifth for JTG Daugherty Racing, and Danica Patrick was sixth for Stewart-Haas Racing in her best qualifying run of the season. I hit a few curbs kind of hard and got a little sideways. "That was owned by the Ganassi guys today".

Najib said Proton had been in trouble, and the government was called upon to help the struggling firm with a soft loan, extended in 2016.

NHRA: Matt Hagan topped Funny Car qualifying with a 3.865-second pass at 333.33 miles per hour in the Summit Racing Equipment Nationals at Norwalk, Ohio. Elliott said. "Hate that, but yeah, I guess it could have been worse, so we will go try again tomorrow". The better you can take care of those tires, and the more you take care of yourself, then the more you take care of your auto. His average finish at Sonoma is 14.5 and his driver rating is 107.8, which is best in the field by a wide margin.

I could see today's victor coming from that pool.

Billy Johnson, who is driving the No. 43 Ford this weekend, was the top qualifier among the five drivers making their Cup debut, in 26th. In fact the Chevy qualifying order looks a lot different than normal, with the likes of A.J. Allmendinger (5th), Chris Buescher (9th) and Paul Menard (15th) all starting higher than we've been accustomed to seeing them.

Prosecutors would later say that Yanez had thought Castile resembled a suspect in a nearby armed robbery a few days earlier. Yanez says he told Castile not to reach for the gun and that Castile's "grip [was] a lot wider than a wallet".
