Owners approve move to Las Vegas

The comments run contrary to Raiders owner Mark Davis's desire to stay in the Coliseum for the next three seasons before moving.

For Bay Area fans upset about the move, it has been reported that Mark Davis did in fact say that he would issue a refund for anyone who bought season tickets, should they want one. Until then, they will continue to call Oakland home.

National Football League policy restricts teams from breaking a lease to relocate, but the rule would not apply to the Raiders because subsequent lease years are optional.

The Raiders announced their departure on the heels of their first winning season in more than 14 years, going 12-4 to earn a spot in the playoffs.

Egypt declares state of emergency after church bombings
George's Coptic church in Tanta was planted under a seat in the church, where it detonated in the main prayer hall, it said. A resident of Egypt, Wahby Lamie, who lost loved ones in Sunday's blasts, questioned the security measures in the country.

It didn't take much to remember both sets of comments as 31 of the league's owners (including Terry and Kim Pegula) voted to approve the Raiders' move to Las Vegas.

Atlanta played in Oakland this past season, so they will not visit Vegas to play the Raiders until 2024.

"I gave them goals, and the results speak for themselves", Davis said. He was just as flummoxed when asked whether his late father, Hall of Famer Al Davis, would have also pursued Las Vegas.

The team has left Oakland before - from 1982 to 1994 they were the "Los Angeles Raiders" and they still have a large fan base in Southern California city.

'Only time will tell' on improving US-China trade
Tensions have been higher than usual because the annual war games between the USA and South Korean militaries are underway. On Saturday, President Donald Trump and South Korea's leader, acting President Hwang Kyo-Ahn, spoke by phone.

But the fight before the Chargers with the Raiders' Vegas relocation consuming yet another chunk of their target demographic before they've even settled in, isn't one that many would envy. Green, who has reportedly attended eight or nine Raiders games since Golden State drafted him in 2012, was upset to hear Monday's news. I feel like all fans should feel that way. A site for the new project has yet to be determined, but it will probably be just off the Las Vegas Strip and will seat 65,000. I also see the joy on the faces of our new fans in Las Vegas. As players, we will show up and give everything we have.

"Oakland, our team loves you and my family and I love you!" We will be resilient and We will stay together because that's what true Raiders do.

Lawyers for the stadium authority overseeing operations at the Coliseum are reviewing the Raiders lease while at least one City Council member wants the team out as soon as possible.

Iran's Rouhani condemns United States attack on Syria, chides Gulf Arabs
But Tehran accused the U.S. president of standing with Islamic State extremists, and Moscow warned of an aggressive response. The idea appears to be to stop Assad from using chemical weapons again, even though killing is likely to otherwise continue.
