Barcelona star Neymar to miss El Clasico after receiving three-game suspension

Barcelona star Neymar to miss El Clasico after receiving three-game suspension

The two-match ban announced Tuesday comes in addition to a one-game suspension he was automatically required to serve after being sent off in a 2-0 loss at Malaga on Sunday.

Head coach Luis Enrique was left bemused by the decision and was similarly frustrated that referee Jesus Gil Manzano awarded a free-kick rather than a penalty when Sergi Roberto was tripped just inside the penalty area.

The Brazilian forward was booked for time wasting by tying his laces after 27 minutes and was then shown a second yellow card for a poor tackle.

Neymar picked up two yellow cards as Barcelona slumped at Malaga.

And they are making this demand when the announcement of the loan waiver is the flavour of the season. Earlier, the Tamil Nadu government waived off loans of farmers who owned five-acre of land.

Barcelona's failure to win means the team remains in second place in the standings, three points behind Real Madrid.

Neymar, who was sent off for his second bookable offence of the game, sarcastically applauded the match officials as he was ushered down the tunnel.

Tchau, Neymar. That's how they say "Boy, Bye" in Portuguese, as the Brazilian star was handed a devastating three game ban on April 11, according to ESPN.

Barcelona suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Malaga in a crucial La Liga match at La Rosaleda Stadium on Saturday.

Trump says would be 'wonderful' if US, Russia could get along
Tillerson, who arrived on Tuesday on his first visit to Russia since he was named to lead the U.S. Russian Federation said "no" to cooperation with the UN's independent investigation.

Defending champion Barcelona is three points behind Madrid, which has a game in hand.

Enrique said: "We need to be careful in these type of matches, there were some very ugly challenges which should have been a card and others committed by us which were marked with a yellow".

Do you think Barcelona will successfully appeal the ban or will Neymar be forced to sit out of El Clasico? The club now sits 3 points behind Real Madrid, with one more game played (effectively putting them 6 points behind, unless Madrid falters).

And Malaga rounded off the win in the final minute when Pablo Fornals squared for Jony to fire into an unguarded net.

The strains in ties were clear as US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson received a frosty reception Wednesday on a visit to Moscow. President Donald Trump said Wednesday it was "time to end this brutal civil war" in Syria and return refugees to their homeland.

Suarez and Neymar have both failed to score against Kameni since their arrivals in Spain, with Malaga being the only La Liga side the Uruguayan is yet to score against since joining Barcelona.
